About this site
What this is
Section titled “What this is”ccswitch.wiki is an unofficial, community-maintained wiki. It collects troubleshooting knowledge from the public GitHub issues of the open-source project cc-switch.
This site has no affiliation with, sponsorship from, or endorsement by the cc-switch authors or the project itself. The project name is used only to identify where the collected content comes from.
How these numbers are calculated
Section titled “How these numbers are calculated”The homepage says "776 topic pages · distilled from 2266 real issues". The synced cc-switch repository data contains 5,713 issues. The table below explains the different counts for synced issues, clusters, and citations on topic pages:
| 5,713 | Issues in the repositoryPull requests excluded. Spanning 2025-08-26 to 2026-10-19, with 16,210 comments also ingested |
| 1,360 | Of those, feature requests"Please support X" and "It would be nice to add X" are not failures, so this site builds no troubleshooting pages for them |
| 4,353 | Troubleshooting denominatorTotal minus feature requests — this is the range the site could in principle cover |
| 2,468 | Assigned to a cluster that became a pageThe same problem gets reported over and over; clustering merges those reports, and one cluster yields one page |
| 2,266 | Issues actually listed on pagesThis is the number on the homepage. Cluster members that are clearly off-topic (a different root cause, or a feature request riding along) are left out of Source Issues |
| 503 | Only in the long-tail indexClosed and discussed, but not yet written up as topic pages — linked from the long-tail index. Closed does not necessarily mean a verified fix |
So 776 topic pages cover 2266 issues, roughly 52% of the troubleshooting denominator. What is left out is mostly one-off reports, or cases that still have no conclusion. Counted as of 2026-10-19, refreshed with every data sync.
Where the data comes from
Section titled “Where the data comes from”Everything comes from the public issues and comments in the cc-switch repository. The Source Issues section at the bottom of each problem page links back to every original issue, so you can check the context yourself.
Content pages are generated by a data pipeline and refreshed periodically. The Last updated stamp at the bottom of a page is when that page was last synced.
Privacy and analytics
Section titled “Privacy and analytics”This site uses Google Analytics 4 to see basic usage: page views, scroll depth, and outbound clicks. Ad storage, Google Signals, and ad personalization are all off. Page URLs have their query strings and fragments stripped before being sent, and no analytics events are sent at all when the browser has Do Not Track enabled.
The numbers are used only to tell which troubleshooting content is needed most. They are not used for ad targeting or user profiling.
