Body discarded: Anthropic protocol conversion Claude Code
Quick fix
Upgrade to v3.20.3 or a v4 version containing the fix; the converter ignores trailing empty reasoning_content.
Symptom
Section titled “Symptom”index:0 thinking → index:1 text → index:2 thinking(空)index:0 thinking → index:1 text → index:2 thinking (empty)
During Anthropic protocol conversion, when the upstream sends empty reasoning_content after a text block, the converter incorrectly opens a new thinking block, creating an invalid thinking → text → thinking order; Claude Code therefore discards the entire body. The maintainer confirmed that v3.20.3 fixed this issue and that all v4 versions include the fix.
Upgrade cc-switch to v3.20.3 or a v4 version containing the fix; the version link provided by the maintainer is v4.0.6.
