I encountered exactly the same problem. Once tool calls are enabled, it is interrupted directly, but this does not happen when I use ccr alone.

Cause

This report occurred with macOS, cc-switch 3.14.1, and Claude Code: after enabling a local proxy, traffic was forwarded normally when Claude started without tool calls. Once a tool call was made, the flow stalled or was interrupted directly. The same Claude tool call worked when launched from the ccs console into the terminal.

This issue is still open. The discussion has no maintainer-confirmed root cause or fix. One user said they switched to claude-code-router, but this is only an unverified alternative.
