Local Codex is up to date, but CC Switch detects an older version

Cause

On Windows, CC Switch detected the local Codex command-line tool as an older version. The maintainer said a later version reworked Windows command-line tool detection to read both system and user PATH, and the new “Applications” page shows each tool’s version, install location, and source.

Fix

  1. Upgrade CC Switch to the latest version, then check the detected Codex version, install location, and source on the “Applications” page.

  2. If detection is still incorrect, provide the maintainer with the actual local version number and the version and install location shown on the “Applications” page.
