Cannot remove all providers — Codex

Quick fix

Disable Codex in cc-switch settings. To keep using it, enable OpenAI Official and sign in to Codex again.

I no longer want cc-switch to manage Codex. I disabled proxy and failover, but cannot remove all providers.

Cause

Disabling proxy and failover does not remove previously added Codex providers. The maintainer confirmed that Codex can be disabled in settings. Another user suggested enabling the preset OpenAI Official, then signing in to Codex again after the old configuration becomes inactive; old sessions may still fail to send requests.

Fix

  1. Disable Codex in cc-switch settings.

  2. If you still need to use Codex, select the Codex provider preset “OpenAI Official” from the “+” menu in the upper-right corner, add it, and enable it in the list.

  3. Sign in to Codex again and start a new chat session; old sessions may not send requests normally.
