Usage statistics fail to record forked child-session usage - Codex
Quick fix
No confirmed fix exists for 3.20.3; wait for cc-switch to fix usage tracking between forked child sessions and the parent rollout.
Symptom
Section titled “Symptom”codex创建subagent进行任务处理所消耗的token不会被cc switch所记录。Tokens consumed when codex creates a subagent to process tasks are not recorded by cc switch.
On Windows with cc-switch 3.20.3, after Codex creates a subagent, logs show that cc-switch does not associate the forked child session with the parent rollout record at the time of the fork. As a result, the session_usage_codex module does not count the tokens consumed by these child sessions.
The issue remains open, with no maintainer response or user-confirmed fix. The available evidence therefore does not support a configuration change or identify a fixed version.
Confirm that you are using cc-switch 3.20.3, then check whether usage from subagents created by Codex is missing from session_usage_codex.
Monitor issue #7699 for updates and wait for cc-switch to fix usage tracking between forked child sessions and the parent rollout. The current discussion provides no verifiable workaround.
