Quick fix

Update CC Switch to 4.0 or the latest version and retry; the maintainer recommended this, but the original issue did not confirm a resolution.

Symptom

Cause

This issue was reported on Windows with CC Switch v3.19.0. After configuring the Bailian provider and enabling routing, a new Codex session could show “Reconnecting 1/5,” then close the stream before the response completed. Even when output appeared, it could be interrupted frequently. The reporter also said a proxy was enabled, but the issue did not provide enough logs to determine whether the cause was the proxy, provider connection, routing, or another component.

The issue was closed because it exceeded the handling time limit and no new reproduction details were provided, not because a fix was confirmed. The maintainer said that 4.0 substantially refactored the related functionality and recommended updating and retrying; the thread contains no user feedback after the update.

Fix

  1. Update CC Switch from v3.19.0 to 4.0 or the latest version, then retest Codex with the same Bailian provider, model, and routing configuration.

  2. If the interruption persists, provide the current CC Switch version, Windows system information, complete reproduction steps, and relevant logs or screenshots, then reopen the issue.
