When syncing Codex HTTP MCP servers to config.toml, cc-switch 3.20.4 incorrectly wrote `type = "stdio"` and an empty `command` while retaining `url`. As a result, Codex could not load the configuration. Another symptom was Codex reporting unrecognized settings such as `mcp_servers.*.type`; both were related to the legacy `type` field written during MCP sync.
Upgrade to v4.0.0 or later. The maintainer said this version no longer writes the MCP `type` field when syncing to Codex.
On the MCP page, resync the relevant servers to clear the old `type` field from the configuration. HTTP MCP writes only `url` and headers; stdio MCP writes only `command`/`args`.
