If the upstream returns no parseable usage, converted Claude openai_chat/openai_responses requests may not appear in statistics; no verified fix is available.

Cause

In a Windows 11 report for CC Switch 3.12.0, Claude used NVIDIA upstream through a local proxy with `apiFormat = openai_chat`. The request was forwarded successfully, but no corresponding record was written to `proxy_request_logs`. The reporter noted this differs from the `anthropic` path: when usage cannot be parsed, it still leaves a `200 + token=0` record.

The report links the issue to upstream usage that cannot be parsed. The maintainer only replied that the usage module has many bugs, without an merged fix, usable configuration change, or verified workaround. The issue was automatically closed as stale; its closed status does not mean it was fixed.

  1. The original issue does not provide a verifiable solution. Follow the usage module's fix status in the source issue, and retain reproduction details for openai_chat/openai_responses requests not being written to statistics records.
