Gateway rejected model "claude-haiku-4-5" - Claude Code
Quick fix
Enable routing based on the API type; for 火山方舟 Responses API, use the full URL and set isFullUrl=true to prevent the path from being appended again.
Symptom
Section titled “Symptom”Inference — Gateway rejected model "claude-haiku-4-5" (HTTP 404)This error occurs in two configuration scenarios, but the root causes differ. When using GMI's `/v1/chat/completions` endpoint, routing must be enabled. When using 火山方舟 Agent Plan, CC Switch 3.16.4 treats the Base URL as a prefix and appends `/v1/responses`, turning the correct address into `.../api/plan/v3/v1/responses`; the upstream service therefore returns HTTP 404.
In the 火山方舟 scenario, the Claude Desktop configuration form also removes the `isFullUrl` flag, preventing the correct setting from being persisted through the interface. The issue confirms that entering the full Responses URL and setting `isFullUrl=true` works. The maintainer recommended upgrading to 4.0 and retrying, but the related issue did not confirm that the upgrade itself resolved the problem.
If the provider uses the `/v1/chat/completions` path, enable routing.
If using 火山方舟 Agent Plan, set the endpoint to the full URL: `https://ark.cn-beijing.volces.com/api/plan/v3/responses`.
Set `isFullUrl` to `true` for this configuration to prevent CC Switch from appending `/v1/responses`; Issue #4875 reports an HTTP 200 response with this configuration.
If the interface removes `isFullUrl` again after saving, do not rely on that form to persist this setting; the issue only says the db can be modified, but provides no database path or specific command.
You can also upgrade to CC Switch 4.0 and test again. If the problem persists, report it again with the version, system, complete reproduction steps, and logs.
