Codex Session Usage Not Applying the Default Cost Multiplier
Quick fix
v4.0.0 removed the default cost multiplier; after upgrading, adjust the corresponding model price directly in the usage statistics pricing table.
Symptom
Section titled “Symptom”新的 `codex_session` 用量仍然像是按正常 `1.0` 倍率计算,导致使用统计中的总成本仍明显高于预期。New `codex_session` usage still appears to be calculated at the normal `1.0` multiplier, leaving the total cost in usage statistics noticeably higher than expected.
This issue was reported in cc-switch 3.16.3. The maintainer explained that v4.0.0 removed provider cost multipliers and the global default cost multiplier. Costs are now calculated uniformly from the model pricing table, so the previous scenario where the Codex default multiplier did not take effect no longer exists in v4.0.0.
Upgrade to v4.0.0 or a later version. To adjust costs, edit the corresponding model price directly in the usage statistics pricing table.
