Skill does not appear: Claude Code
Quick fix
Upgrade to cc-switch 4.0 and reinstall the skill. If it still fails, add system details and reproduction steps, then reopen the issue.
Symptom
Section titled “Symptom”The skill does not appear in the available skills list. When installing a skill through cc-switch 3.15.0 on Windows, the symbolic link target for `~/.claude/skills/frontend-design` was generated as `/c/Users/<username>/.cc-switch/skills/frontend-design`. `claude.exe` is a native Windows program and cannot resolve this Unix-style path, so the skill does not appear in the available skills list.
The maintainer stated that cc-switch 4.0 reworked skill syncing and changed how symbolic links are generated on Windows, so the issue should theoretically no longer occur. However, the issue was automatically closed due to prolonged inactivity, with no user confirmation that upgrading resolved it.
Upgrade cc-switch to 4.0 and reinstall the target skill using the new skill syncing mechanism.
Restart Claude Code and check whether the skill appears in the available skills list.
If the skill still does not load on the latest version, provide Windows system information and complete reproduction steps, then reopen the issue.
