After Astrill VPN is installed on Windows, ASProxy64.dll may be injected into the cc-switch.exe process and trigger an access violation, causing CC Switch to crash or fail to start. The user in Issue #2513 confirmed that adding cc-switch.exe to Astrill’s Help → Hard excluded apps and signing in again restored normal operation. Another comment mentioned Astrill’s LSP Uninstaller as a solution, but noted that OpenWeb mode may be affected; both approaches were discussed.
Open Astrill, select OpenWeb mode from the menu, then go to Help → Hard excluded apps.
Add cc-switch.exe to Hard excluded apps, then sign in to Astrill again.
Restart CC Switch and check whether it opens normally.

- What if Astrill settings do not have Application Filter or Exclude apps?
- A comment says Application Filter may not work; switch to OpenWeb mode, then use Hard excluded apps under Help to add cc-switch.exe.
- Do I need to sign in to Astrill again after adding the exclusion?
- Yes. The steps provided in the comment say to add cc-switch.exe and then sign in to Astrill again.
- Can I use Astrill’s LSP Uninstaller?
- A comment on Issue #2513 says the LSP Uninstaller can remove the relevant DLL, but notes that this may affect OpenWeb; try the Hard excluded apps method first.
