Routing and system proxy conflict makes Codex unusable
Quick fix
Set IPv4 and IPv6 loopback addresses to DIRECT in proxy rule overrides, then retry CC Switch routing.
Symptom
Section titled “Symptom”使用cc-s打开路由的情况下,如果本机有梯子并且打开系统代理的时候,cc-s的路由会和梯子的代理冲突,导致无法使用。关闭梯子就马上恢复正常使用。When routing is enabled with cc-s, if a local proxy is running and system proxy is enabled, the cc-s routing conflicts with the proxy and becomes unusable. Disabling the proxy immediately restores normal operation.
The issue appears to be a conflict between the local proxy and CC Switch routing: disabling the proxy restores normal operation. In issue #7410, a user reported resolving the problem by enabling subscription rule overrides in the proxy and setting local loopback addresses to DIRECT. The maintainer said investigation suggested the cause was on the client or provider side and could not be fundamentally fixed by CC Switch; the issue did not confirm a single root cause. Issue #1862 also described CC Switch global or provider proxy settings seemingly having no effect while Clash for Windows was enabled, but provided no solution or enough information to confirm it was the same local loopback rule issue.
In the proxy's subscription rule overrides, add the following two rules to send IPv4 and IPv6 local loopback addresses directly, then retry CC Switch routing. A user in issue #7410 reported that this worked.
