Wrong model called / stop: cancel task, Codex
Quick fix

In Issue #4499, Codex requests were routed to a provider model that was not in use. The maintainer said that version 4.0 rewrote Codex configuration handling: switching providers no longer rewrites the entire config.toml from a saved snapshot or copies the current configuration back to other providers. The old write and restore behavior may have caused this problem. If it still happens after upgrading, the maintainer asked for the CC Switch and Codex versions, plus the values of model and model_provider in ~/.codex/config.toml.
Issue #6032 records `stop: cancel task, id_task = 2` in llama-server logs. The reporter said increasing startup_timeout_sec prevented this behavior, but the described configuration overwrite could not be reproduced. The maintainer said there was not enough information to reproduce it and suggested trying version 4.0. The available evidence cannot confirm that this log and the wrong-model routing share the same cause, or identify the source of the overwritten data.
Upgrade to version 4.0 or the latest version, then try again. The maintainer said that this version rewrote how Codex configuration is written.
If requests are still routed to the wrong model, provide the CC Switch and Codex versions, along with the values of model and model_provider in ~/.codex/config.toml when the problem occurred.
If you encounter `stop: cancel task, id_task = 2`, the available issue does not confirm the root cause or provide a fix verified by the maintainer. The reporter said the behavior stopped after increasing startup_timeout_sec, but did not specify the configuration file path.
