The auto mode classifier is temporarily unavailable — Claude Code
Quick fix
Disable the Anthropic Base URL proxy in CC Switch and restart Claude Code; one user in the issue reported that updating CLIProxyAPI resolved the problem.
Symptom
Section titled “Symptom”The auto mode classifier is temporarily unavailable, so Bash cannot be used right now. (dacEnabled=n/a, hasExtraBody=false)The issue reports that when using the Anthropic Base URL proxy in CC Switch (for example, `http://127.0.0.1:15721`), the Claude Code Auto Mode classifier becomes unavailable, blocking Bash/WebFetch. The author said that disabling the proxy and restarting the Claude Code session restored the classifier immediately. Another commenter said the problem was caused by CLIProxyAPI not being updated to the latest version and not forwarding Claude Code requests. However, the issue remains open, and another commenter could not reproduce the problem with the normal proxy flow, so the cause has not been consistently confirmed.
Disable the Anthropic Base URL proxy in CC Switch, then restart the Claude Code session and check whether the Auto Mode classifier recovers.
If the problem persists, check whether CLIProxyAPI is updated to the latest version; one commenter reported that updating it resolved the issue with requests not being forwarded.
