hooks configuration lost: cc-switch switches providers

Write hooks required by all providers into “General configuration”, and select it when editing configurations.

After switching from the official cc provider to 智谱, the hooks configuration in setting.json was found to be missing.

Cause

Section titled “Cause”

This is expected behavior: cc-switch rewrites setting.json when switching providers to prevent parameters from different providers from contaminating each other, rather than replacing only some entries. Existing hooks configuration is therefore not retained automatically.

Fix

Section titled “Fix”

  1. Write hooks required by every provider configuration into “General configuration”.

  2. When editing a provider configuration, select that general configuration to apply the hooks.
