Cause

The report states that, during a long conversation, Codex used deepseek-v4-flash from OpenCode Go 2 through the local CC Switch proxy. The upstream returned HTTP 400, then repeatedly retried the same over-limit request and caused the conversation to hang.

The report attributes the problem to a mismatch between the generated catalog's `context_window` and `truncation_policy.limit` and the upstream's actual context window, plus automatic context compression not triggering. The maintainer stated that the core issue was tracked elsewhere and closed this report as a duplicate. The original post did not provide a verified solution.
