Hermes Agent still reads its own skills instead of cc-switch skills - Hermes Agent
Quick fix
The original post provides no verifiable solution. Upgrade and re-project; if it persists, report the actual directories, system, and Hermes version.
Symptom
Section titled “Symptom”Hermes Agent continues to use only its own native skills even after cc-switch is enabled. The skills in `.cc-switch/skills` are not recognized by the Hermes runtime. In this Windows 10 report, after cc-switch was enabled, Hermes Agent still read skills from its native skills directory `%LOCALAPPDATA%\hermes\skills\` and did not recognize custom skills in `C:\Users\av_ch\.cc-switch\skills\`. The issue was closed as a duplicate; a maintainer noted that the Hermes Desktop actual skills directory and CC Switch projection-directory issue is tracked by #4896.
Closed status does not itself mean the issue is fixed. The comment only recommends upgrading and re-projecting first; if the actual paths still differ, reopen the report and provide the system, Hermes version, and actual directories. The original post does not provide a verifiable solution.
After upgrading and re-projecting, check whether Hermes Agent recognizes skills in `.cc-switch/skills`.
If the actual skills paths still differ, reopen the report and include the system, Hermes version, and actual directories; the original post provides no verified configuration change or command.
