Cause

The issue reported that after upgrading from CC Switch 3.16.5 to 3.18.0, switching configurations made Codex history appear blank; closing and reopening the same configuration still worked normally. The maintainer explained that CC Switch 4.0 rewrote how Codex switching works, replacing only key fields such as the address, key, and model in config.toml, and adjusting the group associated with session history. As a result, the issue may not occur in newer versions.
