Restarting the codex desktop app prompts for an account login

Cause

In CC Switch 3.16.0, after switching from the Deepseek routing provider to a GPT API provider, restarting the Codex desktop app may prompt for a new login. The maintainer notes that some preserve-mode proxy takeover paths may clear or overwrite the official ChatGPT/Codex OAuth `auth.json`.

Fix

  1. Upgrade CC Switch from 3.16.0 to v3.16.2 or later, then switch providers again and restart the Codex desktop app.
