Switching between multiple codex accounts shows incorrect quota - Codex
Quick fix
The maintainer confirmed v3.16.5 fixes quota queries using the previous account after switching providers. Upgrade to that version or later and verify again.
Symptom
Section titled “Symptom”我是三个codex 用完一个切换下一个 最后发现codex的额度显示不对 都是一个codex的剩余额度I have three codex accounts. When I use up one, I switch to the next. Eventually, I noticed that the quota shown for codex was incorrect: all showed the remaining quota of the same codex account.
The maintainer explained that when a Codex configuration is created by copying an existing provider, or the provider's primary API Key / endpoint is later changed, the api_key/base_url overrides saved in the usage query script may retain the old credentials copied at creation. These overrides take precedence over the current live configuration, so queries still retrieve the original account's quota after switching.
The maintainer confirmed a fix in v3.16.5: adding or updating a provider clears overrides that merely mirror the provider's own credentials, allowing queries to fall back to the live configuration. Custom overrides that actually differ from the current configuration are retained. The original thread has a stale notice and a closure record, but the evidence for the fix is the maintainer's explicit statement. No post-upgrade verification from the reporter has been seen.
Upgrade to cc-switch v3.16.5 or later; the maintainer explicitly identified this version as containing the fix.
Switch between the Codex configurations again and verify that each quota corresponds to its respective provider account.
If the issue persists after upgrading, reply to or reopen the original issue and provide specific reproduction steps, especially whether these Codex configurations were created by copying existing ones.
