Deep-link import drops multi-model configuration — Grok Build
Quick fix
To keep multiple relay models in /model, manually add the extra [model.*] tables to ~/.grok/config.toml.
Symptom
Section titled “Symptom”Only the selected `model` URL parameter survives. When CC Switch 3.19.2 imports a Grok Build deep link, `merge_grokbuild_config` parses only the selected or default configuration. Then `build_grokbuild_settings` reconstructs a single-model configuration from the standard deep-link fields, so the complete model catalog in the inline TOML is not included in `settings_config`.
The maintainer explained that the next version will only fix the default configuration being reconstructed from a fixed template. It will preserve the `name`, `description`, `api_backend`, `context_window`, sampling, and retry settings of the configuration referenced by `[models] default`. Importing every model configuration from one link is not currently planned. Starting with v4, each Grok Build provider has only one `[model."<name>"]` table; other configurations are skipped.
If you only need the default model, upgrade to the next version containing the partial fix described by the maintainer. The fix preserves the default configuration's own fields, but still does not import other model configurations from the same link.
If you currently need multiple relay models in Grok Build `/model`, manually add the extra `[model.*]` tables to `~/.grok/config.toml`; CC Switch preserves tables it did not write.
During import, continue providing the endpoint, API key, and model through explicit deep-link parameters. Do not rely on each configuration's `env_key`, endpoint, backend, or other credentials; `env_key` is removed, and links using `auth_provider`, `env_http_headers`, or `mtls_cert_dir` are rejected.
