The cc-switch configuration is not taking effect.

Cause

Section titled “Cause”

Windows and WSL do not share the same configuration file. Therefore, when the Windows configuration directory is selected, Claude Code inside WSL will not read the configuration written by CC Switch. A user added in the comments that when the configuration directory was set to a WSL path, enabling routing still did not update it, while disabling routing updated it normally. The maintainer closed the issue because v4.0 had been released with major changes to the interface and configuration-writing method; it was not confirmed whether this routing case was fixed.

Fix

  1. In CC Switch Settings > Advanced, set the configuration directory to the actual configuration file path used inside WSL.

  2. If the configuration directory already points to a WSL path but enabling routing still does not update it, upgrade to 4.0 and report the issue again with the actual reproduction steps; the issue does not confirm that this case was fixed.
