Effort is silently dropped for all muse-spark-* models Claude Code
Quick fix
The issue proposes adding muse-spark to an allowlist, but no verifiable fix is available yet.
Symptom
Section titled “Symptom”Effort is silently dropped for all `muse-spark-*` models, so upstream always runs at its default level regardless of `/effort`.The report states that Claude Code’s `/effort` setting is not written to the upstream request’s `reasoning.effort` after being proxied by cc-switch. It attributes this to the `supports_reasoning_effort()` allowlist in `src-tauri/src/proxy/providers/transform.rs:71-83` not including `muse-spark`, so the Responses transformation logic in `transform_responses.rs:1841-1847` does not inject `reasoning`.
The original post proposes adding `muse-spark` to the allowlist and adding tests, but the issue remains open and does not prove that the patch has been merged or released. Comments also state that the approach changed from clamping `max` to `xhigh` to passing it through unchanged: the Contributor tier receives HTTP 400 for `max`, while the Standard tier can retain `max`.
No verifiable fix is provided in the original post; follow the `muse-spark` allowlist patch proposed in issue #7397 and its merge and release status.
