“ANTHROPIC_API_KEY or another auth source is set” — Claude Code
Quick fix
Upgrade CC Switch from 3.16.4 to the refactored 4.0 or later, then retest.
Symptom
Section titled “Symptom”⚠ claude.ai connectors are disabled because ANTHROPIC_API_KEY or another auth source is set and takes precedence over your claude.ai login · Unset it to load your organization's connectorsWhen Claude Code detects `ANTHROPIC_API_KEY` or another authentication source, it takes precedence over the `claude.ai` login, so `claude.ai connectors` are disabled. This was reported after switching from the official configuration to GLM-5 under Tencent Cloud Coding Plan through CC Switch.
The reporter also encountered continuous retries and could not use the service, but the issue provided no related logs and did not establish whether the warning and retry failure shared the same root cause. The issue was eventually closed as timed out because no new reproduction details were provided. The maintainer only stated that 4.0 substantially refactored the related functionality and did not confirm that the problem was fixed.
Upgrade CC Switch 3.16.4 to 4.0 or later, switch again to GLM-5 under Tencent Cloud Coding Plan, and test the Claude Code CLI.
If the problem persists, provide the current CC Switch version, macOS information, complete reproduction steps, and relevant logs or screenshots, then report the issue again.
If the actual goal is to restore your organization’s `claude.ai connectors`, follow the warning and unset `ANTHROPIC_API_KEY` or another higher-priority authentication source. This changes the current authentication method and is not a confirmed fix for the Tencent Cloud configuration being unavailable.
