Bash failed due to the following issue: The required parameter `command` is missing - Claude Code
Quick fix
Set the local GLM provider to OpenAI Chat format and enable routing so CC Switch converts and forwards Claude Code requests.
Symptom
Section titled “Symptom”The required parameter `command` is missingIn #3065, a tool call from local glm-5.1 was converted into a Claude Code tool event, but the logs show the generated Bash arguments ended up as `{}`, leaving the required `command` parameter missing. The user also reported a `partial_json` assembly issue, but the issue does not record its final resolution.
#1112 concerns a related OpenAI Chat private-model configuration issue: the maintainer noted that when model mapping does not reach the proxy correctly, Claude Code directly requests the glm model and returns 504. The maintainer's fix was to select the matching API format and enable routing, with the address ending before `/v1`. This issue does not confirm that this configuration fixes the missing tool-call parameters in #3065, so the specific causes and resolutions are not identical.
In provider settings, select the OpenAI Chat API format and enable routing so CC Switch converts Claude Code requests before forwarding them.
For the upstream address, enter only the portion ending before `/v1`; do not enter `/v1/chat/completions` as the address.
If 504 continues, provide the issue with the CC Switch version, provider configuration with secrets redacted, relevant logs from `~/.cc-switch/logs`, and whether a corporate proxy is required.

- Do providers using the OpenAI Chat format require local proxy mode to be enabled?
- The maintainer recommends selecting the matching API format and enabling routing so CC Switch converts and forwards Claude Code requests.
