Configuration overwrites coworkEgressAllowedHosts, making remote Git unavailable — Claude Desktop
Quick fix
Upgrade to CC Switch v3.16.1 or later; the maintainer said the issue was fixed or implemented.
Symptom
Section titled “Symptom”当前 CC Switch 重新应用 Claude Desktop 配置时,会生成不包含 `coworkEgressAllowedHosts` 的 active config。When CC Switch reapplies Claude Desktop configuration, it generates an active config that does not include `coworkEgressAllowedHosts`.
In the reported CC Switch 3.15.0 and macOS environment, reapplying Claude Desktop provider configuration overwrote the active config without writing coworkEgressAllowedHosts. The report said this restricted outbound network access for Claude Code subprocesses launched by Claude Desktop, making remote Git operations unavailable.
The maintainer replied that the issue was “fixed or implemented” in CC Switch v3.16.0 / v3.16.1, but the discussion did not explain the implementation or provide post-upgrade reproduction results. Manually adding the field was a temporary workaround verified by the reporter, but it was lost after switching providers or reapplying configuration.
Upgrade to CC Switch v3.16.1 or later, then follow the original reproduction steps to confirm that configuration no longer overwrites `coworkEgressAllowedHosts`.
If you cannot upgrade yet, manually add `coworkEgressAllowedHosts` to the active config; this workaround stops working when CC Switch reapplies configuration.
