This is a feature request, not a confirmed bug-fix report. The proposal is to route safety classifier requests in Claude Code Auto Mode to a separate provider, allowing different `base_url`, authentication credentials, and models; the existing ability to override `model` within the same provider does not cover this case.

The original post proposes falling back to the normal routing chain when the classifier queue is empty or all routes are circuit-broken. It also notes that cross-provider routing must not trigger an actual provider switch, otherwise the current provider would be changed to the classifier provider. This issue remains open, and the original post provides no verifiable solution.
