Switching Claude relay sites loses previous setting configuration — Claude Code
Quick fix
No verifiable solution was provided; this request is tracked in main issue #3631.
Symptom
Section titled “Symptom”本次新配置一个中转站后,发现claude的很多配置丢失,原来很多配置是写入到之前中转站下的setting文件下,新建一个后,等于是重新覆盖,原来的配置没有挪过来导致。After configuring a new relay site, many Claude settings were found missing. Much of the previous configuration had been written to the setting file under the old relay site. Creating a new one effectively overwrote it, and the original configuration was not moved over.
This is a feature request: when a new Claude relay site is created, plugins and configuration previously written in the old relay site's settings file are not migrated automatically, so existing configuration appears lost. The reporter requests a prompt to migrate common configuration when creating a new relay site, rather than only replacing the API key.
The maintainer marked this report as a duplicate of #3631 and merged it for tracking. The post does not state that a fix was implemented or provide a verifiable migration method.
No verifiable solution was provided in the original post. Follow progress on main issue #3631, or add details and reopen this post if your case differs materially.
