On macOS, cc-switch 3.16.3 may fail to retrieve the model list for Claude Code, while manually entering a model name still works. The same configuration retrieves the list correctly on other computers, so the problem may be specific to the local environment. A commenter suspected that proxy software had not exited properly, but provided no verification, so this cannot be confirmed as the root cause.

The issue was closed after timing out without new reproduction details, not because a fix was confirmed. The maintainer said that 4.0 substantially refactored the related functionality and recommended updating and retrying. Fix

  2. If it still fails, check whether the proxy software exited properly. This was a user’s hypothesis and was not confirmed in the thread.

  3. Test again after updating. If the problem persists, reopen the issue with the CC Switch version, system, complete reproduction steps, and relevant logs or screenshots.

  4. While the model list is unavailable, manually enter the model name. The original report confirmed that this works.
