Hermes Provider Not Synced to config.yaml - Claude Code

When I enable the Hermes provider through CC Switch, only the model: block is updated, while the providers: block remains empty. This causes Hermes to fail because it cannot find the API key and base_url.

Cause

The report states that enabling the Hermes provider in CC Switch updated only the model: block while the providers: block remained empty. As a result, Hermes could not read the API key and base_url. The expected behavior was to write the relevant content to ~/.hermes/config.yaml.

The original post recorded a working temporary workaround: copy the provider configuration from the CC Switch database to config.yaml. This issue is closed, but the maintainer only said it duplicated #5142 and recommended following that main issue; the input provides no verified official fix or fix version.
