Cause

When Claude Desktop uses a third-party Claude/Anthropic-compatible provider through the CC Switch local gateway, Cowork's WebFetch cannot access external URLs. The issue is related to the Cowork sandbox's permission for accessing external hosts.

Fix

  1. Add `"coworkEgressAllowedHosts": ["*"]` to the Claude Desktop 3P gateway profile generated by CC Switch, then use Cowork WebFetch to access the external webpage again.
