unknown model 'ark-code-latest' (2013) — Codex

Quick fix

Change the MiniMax provider's model ID to MiniMax-M3 or a model MiniMax actually supports, then save. Do not use Volcano Engine Ark's ark-code-latest.

Symptom

Cause

Section titled “Cause”

MiniMax does not recognize `ark-code-latest`. This model ID is specific to Volcano Engine Ark (Agentplan/BytePlus) presets, but the current configuration entered it into the MiniMax provider, so the upstream returned HTTP 400 (2013).

This is a mismatch between the provider and the model ID configuration, not CC Switch confusing the two providers.

Fix

  1. Edit the MiniMax provider configuration, change the model field from `ark-code-latest` to `MiniMax-M3`, or to another model ID officially supported by MiniMax, then save.

  2. If you are unsure which fields were changed, delete the MiniMax provider and recreate it using the MiniMax preset.

  3. You can upgrade to v3.17.0. This version adds a separate "default model" input box to the Codex provider form and fixes an issue where the model suggestion dropdown retained models from the previous provider when switching providers.
